San Diego Mesa College 1st Place Men's 4-Mile Race - CCCAA Cross Country Championships 2019

San Diego Mesa College placed five runners in the top 13 to win its first state title in 18 years with a 37-65 victory over American River College at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif.  Stefen Rasmuson led the Olympians, as he placed second in the 4-mile race (20:15), followed by Isaiah Labra in third (20:30.4). Cristian Alcantar was seventh (20:44.9), Bobby Brana finished 12th (20:54.8) and Medhane Woldu came in 13th (20:56.1). Ian Ibarra (21:15.8) was 21st and Esteban Magana (22:09.9) came in 78th as San Diego Mesa's sixth and seventh runners. The Olympians captured their fourth title in program history overall.
